Hangin Our Hats

Yes, I know I haven't posted often lately, and I can explain. The Internet service in this Extended Stay America is gawdawful (maybe even worse than the cable television, but hey, it's only a mere $450 a week-sheesh) and most of my attempted posts have failed. Alternatively, I can post from work, but that's not really why I am there, and I don't know that it'd be smart from a perception point of view. So, the good news is that I've rented a house and will be moving in on the 12th (Sunday), but won't have television or Internet service upon arrival. The Internet (and VOIP phone) will be the first thing and should happen later next week, whereupon I'll have LOADS of time to blog, so hold your horses. If you want to know my new address just email me at stucco at insanepursuits dot com and I'll email it to you. Eventually.

Oh, by the way, we'll be in West Seattle, and the view of Seattle looks like this:

Seattle only looks like that to those with telephoto eyes. The rest of us see other stuff and not as clearly. Unless you be bionic, or something.

Good to see cheesy utelizing the woohoohoo approach to life. Good things are heading cheesy's way, I am sure of it.

Cheesy- I'm making a stand in not conforming to the odd ways of the locals. The west coast passive-aggressive pretense is not a quality I'd choose to emulate. I need to find a New Yorker ("New Yawker") living here and regain my cultural equilibrium.

Scott- It also never looks like that for weather reasons. It's usually far cloudier. And what about "woohoohoohoo"? At what point are "hoo's" overkill?

Judith- The geology and weather are very nice. I'm not so sure about the cruelty-free, free-range, organic, solar powered, hemp wearing, power walking coffee junkies that live here. Heh.

Well, Hunny. you failed to mention that you married a "dog-walking, coffee junkie" who holds the other "organic, cruelty-free, hemp wearers" close to her heart. The wonderful thing about you is that you get along with all kinds, from every walk of life. How else can you explain holding Phil near and dear while also marrying a hippie? (Gotta love Phil!) You MUST post about Phil sometime!

Thems fightin' words, darlin'.

Ok, so I'm not a power walker. And I'm really more rain-powered. And I don't live there. But it's close enough.

Moving into a house with nothing but a computer, a suitcase and an air mattress. You're gonna look so divorced.

Wow! Nearly naked women commenting on my blog! I must be living right :)

For the record, neither you or Schmoopie own hemp bras, powerwalk, and surely are pro-cruelty.

Maybe the new neighbors will take pity on me and cook something...

I applaud you're resistance to blogging from work . . . as I type from the comfort of my task chair in my office with the door shut . . . I'm clocked out for lunch, so that's gotta count for something, right?
