Seriously- What the Fuck?
I know that the dipshit-in-chief has made it trendy to completely fucking toss out civil rights relating to privacy, but now that the fucking Democrats have sponsored and passed *and had signed by the dipshit-in-chief* S. 1858 we're getting it from our would-be saviors. Honest to fuck- we're doomed. The law establishes a database of the DNA OF EVERY NEWBORN IN THIS FUCKING COUNTRY. No consent, no opting out, and surely some of that quality government security and integrity. They'd never misuse or apply this information against us- right? And we were greeted as liberators, right?
Anyone interested in having a child might want to go to Canada or Mexico long about month 8.

UPDATE: I find myself in the infrequent position of agreeing with Ron Paul, and this time for the same reasons. Observe this post
And in my job I have to look out for patient data privacy and observe HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11, and then they pass shit like this. Fucking tools. I'm really fucking angry right now, as you may have surmised. Was no one inclined to rethink this when they got word that W. was supporting it?

I wondered why you were so willing to take it up the ass...???
The only way to stop this usurpation is to simply take the money and the power away.
Give it to states whereby its citizens can keep a better eye on what's going on, maybe even know the people in government personally...
Liberal OR not, this shit is becoming commonplace on our federal doorstep...
Conspiracie aside, the federal government is no longer a "We The People" Enterprise...
I'm out of my fucking mind lately. I discovered that Child and Family Services can take my children away for such infractions as our allowing them to have a glass of wine with dinner or our sharing showers. What fucking right does ANYONE have to dictate what happens within the walls of my home? I understand abuse - someone SHOULD step in to stop that - but a fucking sip of wine?!
It's truly going too far, and I fear what we'll have to do to bring it back.
Even though i feel as upset as you, i knew this was coming down the pike for a long time now. Who needs national identity cards when we have this?
I think they should just remove the statue of liberty altogether and put a giant swastika there instead.
"As recent history so eloquently illustrates, politicians are more than willing to take, and people are more than willing to cede, liberty during times of “emergency.”"
Amen, Brother Ron.
This disgusts me. Brought to you by the same geniuses who gave us "No child left behind."
This is going to lead to an historical level of discrimination. And then when the pendulum swings the other way we'll have to waste time amending the Constitution to include equal rights for the sick. Jesus-Fucking-Christ.
